Commentary

    King                          Queen

Finding, following, struggling

Is he sure to bless

"saints, apostles, prophets,

martyrs, answer 'yes'"

That answer comes not only from those companies of people but from an unending succession of faithful disciples, their names unsung on earth, but entered in God's Who's Who in the Kingdom.  The reward is a new dimension which comes into life through relationship to Jehovah, the new status of sonship, the new meaning that illuminates the deep mysteries of the work.  The reward is a "New Creation"; the great experience of becoming; the larger work into which the disciple is led, with its expanding boundaries; the exhilaration of belonging to the Greatest Fraternal Order of all time, the Friends of Jehovah.  Surely the hundred-fold that we receive back when we repent and turn away from the sins of the world is no exaggeration.

Once again, we become a part of the unending succession of Faithful disciple, their names unsung on earth but entered in God's Who's Who in the Kingdom.

Commentary #2

Romans 13

1. Let every person be subject to the governing authorities.  For there is no authority except from Jehovah, and those that exist have been instituted by Jehovah.

2. Therefore he who resists the authority resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

7.  Pay all of them their dues, respect and honor to whom it is due.

8.  Owe no one anything except to love one another.  For he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

Commentary #3

The Apostle Paul regarded irresponsible opposition to the state as a serious action against an agent of order which considers the well-being of the whole of society above willfully preferred private aims.  It is only fair to assume that this is not a complete statement of his attitude to constitutional power; he himself was ready to affirm, and if need to be act upon, this right of conscience to protest against the actions of the state.
